You would never have to wonder how much I love you, because I would let you know everyday. I’d text you paragraphs through the day when we’re off on our own about how lucky I am to have you in my life, I’d handwrite you love letters, sing you love songs, write poems about you, and for the words I can’t explain..I promise to express them through our bodies, by the way that I kiss you and hold you. But, most importantly, I’d show you everyday how much you mean to me by actions. I’d make you breakfast in the mornings, not only to see the beautiful smile on your face, but because I care about you and your health. At times when we disagree, I’ll sit down with you and we’ll talk it through..I’ll never raise my voice or make you feel uncomfortable having any conversation with me. I promise on the days where you’re too upset to get out of bed, I’ll be there with you. I’ll hold you and tell you that everything will be okay. I’ll run a warm bath for you and while you’re in it, I’ll light some candles around the room and put on your favourite movie, so when you get out of the tub you can crawl into my arms and feel safe and relaxed. On the days where you’re dancing around the house because you’re so happy and full of energy that you can’t sit still, I promise to dance with you. I’ll pick you up and put you over my shoulder so I can hear your cute little squeal then I’ll take you to the bedroom and kiss you for hours. I promise that you will be the only one who will ever get this much attention from me, I promise that you’ll never have to worry about me leaving you because you’ll know that you’re the only one for me. You’ll be my best friend and the love of my life. You’ll be the one that I’ll plan cute, corny dates for -us going for dinner then watching the sunset and the stars fill the sky. And I promise you that although sunsets and stars are two of the most beautiful things to see, I’ll be looking at you because your beauty runs deeper than the sunsetting and I’d rather get lost in the galaxies in your eyes than the stars in the sky.
If I was your girlfriend, I’d prove to you that some people are different and not everyone is going to break your heart. I’d be the good that you were searching for in this world..and you, my love, would be my world.
